ABS-Rings

CDX is a well-established trademark which is sold in most European countries and a guarantee for highest quality

Modern cars are usually equipped with ABS-brakes, putting special demands on the CV-Joints.

ABS prevents the wheels from locking during braking, thereby keeping tractive contact with the road surface.
Todays CV-Joints usually have to be fitted with ABS rings.
The ABS ring is an optical indicator to measure the rotation speed of the wheels, on which the braking power is based, in order not to lock the wheels.

Mounting a CV-joint with the wrong number of ABS teeth will knock out the ABS-system of the car, and may even cause the whole brake system to fail.
CDX has a unique reference system for CV-joints with ABS, giving extra security in checking whether the correct ABS-joint is fitted.
